Doors Open Toronto is one of my favorite things to do in this city. On the last weekend of May, tons of beautiful buildings' doors are opened—doors that otherwise stay closed to the public—allowing access to all of the amazingness inside. We were only able to see two this year: The TTC Leslie Barns and this, Ryerson University's Student Learning Center, but it was well worth it. I was so impressed with this building and its design.
Each floor has its own concept:
8: The Sky
7: The Forest
6: The Beach
5: The Sun
4: The Garden
3: The Bluff
2: The Bridge
1: The Valley
We were advised to start from the top and work our way down, so that's what we did! I apparently had a thing for the chairs and seating arrangements, as it seems that's all I took photos of, but it was those chairs and seating arrangements that brought each floor to life.
Such a great start to our Doors Open weekend!
