A diaper bag—it's got everything we would ever need on any given day's outing—our baby arsenal, so to speak.
I'm not one for having too many things, especially when it comes to baby things, so I wanted to keep our diaper bag to the bare necessities. We've used every single thing in here while we were out, so until Margot's needs change, these guys are here to stay.
So, what's in the bag?
+ An entire extra outfit // you'll be thankful for clean clothes when the poop comes around...and it will.
+ Booties & hat // in case she gets cold.
+ Extra diapers and wipes // I use Jackson Reece All-Natural wipes. They're my favorite wipes compared to all others I've tested. They have the perfect amount of moisture, are a great size, very soft and have no harsh chemicals.
+ Diaper cream or oil // we use Nutiva Coconut Oil for all of Margot's moisturizing needs. Lessens the amount of products we need, plus it keeps her skin so soft and smelling so yummy.
+ Changing pad // ours is the Kushies Deluxe Changing Pad. It's soft, waterproof, big enough to place on a changing table but small enough to quickly roll up into my bag.
+ Extra bibs // we use the waterproof bibs from Maxy Moo Moo (the best bibs in all the land) for both feeding and her crazy drooling. They're big, waterproof, have double snaps and are colorful—I love them!
+ Burp cloth or blanket // aden + anais, all the way.
+ Nursing cover // mine's from Covered Goods and is the perfect nursing and stroller cover. Totally lightweight that she doesn't get too hot while feeding, but strong enough to keep the wind out on a cool breezy stroll.
+ Toys // in case she gets fussy. Margot loves these plush toys from Under the Nile. They're 100% organic Egyptian cotton and made for teething babes who cram all things into their mouths.
+ Pacifier and chain // we use the NUK Silicone pacifiers. Compared to others we've tried, these stay in her mouth and don't leave that ugly mark around her mouth. The chain we use is by Heimess and is all-natural and safe for her to chew on.
+ Baby carrier // in case Margot needs a change of scenery or wants a little fresh air from lying in her stroller all day, I bring my Solly Wrap everywhere I go.
+ Something extra: at times, Margot has a hard time breathing when stuffed up, so I got these Pigeon Nose Cleaning Tweezers. These are amazing and safe to use.
+ Camera // to catch every and all cute moments.
+ Phone, wallet, sunglasses and lotion
